  It is however, not a posh, hip or glamorous place. If anything, it's on the dark and dingy looking side. But as the old saying goes: don't judge a book by its cover!

  July 2016 - I usually love this place, but they had new staff in there the other day with attitude and that were really unhelpful. Hope they usual staff are coming back or we probably won't be! 3 stars.

  Good food, specials every night, generous portions, good selection of beers and wine. Proximity to Moore Park stadium makes it a fixed stop for before or after any game. Always have sport on rotation on tv, I have noticed service can bottleneck and get slow only if just before or just after a game a large group orders food and booze, that obviously clogs the bar and the kitchen a little. Otherwise the guys are spot on!

  OMG, this place has Sydney's best casual pub food. It's a winner, hands down. They must have the best fast order chef EVER. Yummy burgers, salads, fried chicken, squid ...The service is also good, super nice staff and quick service.

  It has its charm, and not too classy, nor is it too grungy. Nice pub near the bar, and a reasonable selection of beers as well.

  June 2017 - again with the new staff telling us we can't get our usual order mixing mash with salad or veg with chips! At least they are nice and polite about it this time, but still need to leave their mark, is it worth it!?! Even the advert that the staff contradicts is displayed! The kitchen staff are so nice and the owners are great too, so really annoying when I have go into the toilet to take a photo of the offer for tonight so I can quote it to the staff! I love this pub and come even though I've moved out of the area, but come on! Kitchen staff saved the day again! Small things make a difference! 2.5 stars.
