  The food was ok, really good coffee - 4 stars just because when I asked if it was table service or order at the counter, and whether I needed to wait to be seated, the waiter was really rude about it? Like, that’s a reasonable question I thought. Anyway, other than that it’s not terrible.

  Food took a little bit longer than expected, although this was my first visit, and once it arrives it was clear why it took a tad longer. Everything on the plate was perfectly cooked, and went really well together. Personally I had the potato rosti stack with bacon, and that was incredible.

  My fave cafe in Sydney. The best coffee around - always delicious. They are an excellent team of people and always are very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I tried dinner there recently and were very impressed by the food and wonderful, friendly service. What makes this wonderful for me is that it is the perfect local, but if I moved I'd certainly make the effort.

  If you're after reasonably priced, but well worth the money breakfast, lunch, or in-between, Tripod should be on your list.

  Amaaazing food. Came here for brunch one morning, and even the polite greeting at the door was a good start. The decor and atmosphere are great, and seating out the back is very pleasant.

  Cozy local cafe with tasty breakfast and lunch, the coffees are really good too . . the service is always good and friendly .. strongly recommended especially for Sydney uni students looking for a much better option than whats available on campus
